The drug free is from what’s called straight edge. Or XXX (the tats on his hands). It means no drugs,alcohol or permiscous sex. Some people take it as far as also being vegetarian. It started as a gang in the punk rock and hardcore metal seen. Now a lot of people see it as a personal goal or achievement over their past. Look it up. it was on A&E’s show called gang land. XXX FOR LIFE
