That’s dull, the URL that was entered is the problem, not the exception generated by IE. Most of the time IE sucks indeed, but this time there’s no reason to make fun of it. We should be careful not to make fun of ourselves this way

What he did, or more likely what the page he was visiting did, or even more likely what the server hosting the page he was visiting did, was requesting a URL that doesn’t exist (http://www.google.com/eyeblaster/addneyeV2.html). All the stuff that follows after the question mark is just an encoded URL parameter string called strHTML, which probably is a server side generated HTML page that was to be stored by the target URL.
And it’s software developers, like me, who actually read these exceptions
And everyone yelling he(?) should get a Mac instead, please read my earlier comment. By the way, he would be even better off getting a Linux box, after all that’s what Macs, including the iPhone, run. The only difference is that Linux is free!
